Okay, it’s time for another review and this time my focus is on the AMD RX 6600 RX and STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor. How do these two perform together? What resolution can I use with these two?
All will be answered in this post. Here, I will talk about an overview of the RX 6600, how it compares to some of the other graphics cards.
Additionally, I will discuss how it compares against the system requirements of Jedi: Survivor. I will also provide a quick FAQ if you want to get to the meat of your answers.

My Opinion – RX 6600 for STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
In my opinion, this is the best entry level graphics card on the market for 1440P resolution gaming on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. You should expect to hit right around 60 FPS (albeit a little under, maybe 55-60). That is, of course as long as you’re not experiencing bottlenecks from other components like memory or CPU. AND this is on Epic settings mind you. So, if you turn your settings down to High, you can expect even better performance.
That being said, you should not expect to be able to play 1440P with Ray Tracing enabled and still getting that kind of performance. Maybe on 1080P but not 1440P. Also this is not a 4K graphics card for this game. For that, you should search out a higher level graphics card like the RX 6800 and above.
Overview of the RX 6600 and How it Compares to Others
In this section, I will talk about the RX 6600 and how it compares to the RX 6600 XT, the RX 6500 XT, NVIDIA’s RTX 3060, and RTX 3060 Ti.
The AMD Radeon RX 6600 is a mid-range graphics card released in August 2021, positioned to offer solid 1080p and 1440p gaming performance.
Compared to the AMD RX 6600 XT, the RX 6600 has fewer stream processors, less memory bandwidth, and lower clock speeds. It has 1792 stream processors, a 128-bit memory bus, and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The RX 6600 XT, on the other hand, has 2048 stream processors, a 128-bit memory bus, and 8GB of GDDR6 memory.
When compared to the AMD RX 6500 XT, the RX 6600 is a slightly higher-end option. The RX 6500 XT has 2048 stream processors, a 128-bit memory bus, and 4GB of GDDR6 memory.
In terms of NVIDIA’s competition, the AMD RX 6600 is positioned to compete against the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and the RTX 3060 Ti. The RX 6600 is priced around the same range as the RTX 3060, while the RX 6600 XT is positioned to compete against the more expensive RTX 3060 Ti.
In terms of performance, the RX 6600 performs similarly to the RTX 3060 in most games, with some games favoring one over the other. The RX 6600 XT generally performs better than the RTX 3060, but the RTX 3060 Ti is still the clear winner in terms of overall performance.
Overall, the AMD RX 6600 is a solid mid-range graphics card that can offer good 1080p and 1440p gaming performance. However, it may struggle with more demanding games at higher resolutions and may not offer the same level of ray-tracing performance as NVIDIA’s offerings.
System Requirements for STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor, the latest addition to the Star Wars gaming franchise, features some of the most demanding system requirements in the industry. The game is not optimized for PC gaming, which makes it even more challenging for gamers to enjoy a smooth and immersive experience.
With a minimum of 16GB of RAM and a graphics card with at least 8GB of VRAM, the game sets a high bar for entry, which may be difficult for those with less powerful hardware or limited financial resources to upgrade. High system requirements are necessary to provide the game’s impressive graphics and immersive gameplay experience, although it presents a challenge for some gamers.
