The purpose of this article is to provide my review of the Skytech Azure and the games you can play on it. In this review analysis, I am going to provide an overview on:
- The entire build
- Processor
- Graphics Card
- RAM and Hard Drive
- List of PC games you can play and at what resolution/graphics setting
Overview of the Entire Build – Skytech Azure
The target audience for the Skytech Azure are gamers who enjoy playing some of the latest AAA titles like Warzone 2 and Elden Ring on 1440P resolution. You should have a monitor that can display at 1440P resolution if you are going to buy this PC. If you don’t plan on gaming at 1440P, then this PC is probably not for you and I would direct you to my review of the Skytech Nebula for 1080P or my review of the Skytech Blaze 3.0 for 4K gaming.
Now, that being said, yes you can play 1080P with the Skytech Azure or 4K (likely not as great of an experience). The reason I direct you to the other builds is because they are purpose built systems for other uses. The Nebula is geared and priced more towards 1080P gaming and the Blaze 3.0 is geared and priced more towards 4K gaming.
I think the Skytech Azure has a good processor, good graphics card, good amount of RAM and storage capacity. It’s a good mid-range gaming PC. It’s perfect for the gamer who enjoys rich graphics.
All Skytech PCs are made in the U.S.A. (so you get U.S. based support) and they come with a 1-year warranty with lifetime technical support.

Review of Skytech Azure’s Processor
The Skytech Azure comes with an Intel i5 12600K 3.7 GHz (4.9 GHz Max Boost) processor. Being that it has 10-cores, it is going to meet or exceed the recommended system requirements of any new game that gets released in 2022-2023.
However, games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 / Warzone 2 are coming out with advanced system requirements. This is due to competitive gaming requirements and 4K. Let’s take a look at how this processor ranks against the system requirements for Warzone 2.0 – a modern AAA game in 2022. We will specifically review its Competitive and Ultra 4K specifications.

You can see that Competitive Specs call out for an Intel i7 8700K. Ultra 4K Specs call out an Intel i9 9900K. Competitive Specs would allow you to play at 1440P resolution with maximum graphics settings. The Ultra 4K Specs would allow you to play on 4K resolution with maximum graphics settings.
Cores (Threads) | Base Clock | Boost Clock | L3 Cache | |
Intel i7 8700K | 6 (12) | 3.7 | 4.7 | 12MB |
Intel i5 12600K | 10 (20) | 3.7 | 4.9 | 20MB |
Intel i9 12900K | 16 (24) | 3.2 | 5.2 | 30MB |
You can see from the table above that the Intel i5 12600K CPU is superior to that of the Competitive Specifications of Warzone 2. It is also less than the Ultra 4K Specifications of Warzone 2. This is truly a processor that exceeds the recommended system requirements, but does not quite make it in to the upper levels of processing power for 4K gaming with a high refresh rate. Again, this all fits into the picture of the target audience for the Skytech Azure. You can play 1440P resolution with Ultra graphics but may lack a little on the 4K gaming side.
Skytech Azure – RAM and Hard Drive
RAM: The Skytech Nebula comes with 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz. I have said this in other reviews of Skytech gaming PCs: I would not go less than 16GB of RAM for a new PC. 16GB of RAM should be your bare minimum for a new gaming PC. You could certainly have 8GB of RAM for gaming but it would not make sense with this setup.
Another thing to consider is that DDR5 memory will be mainstream in the years to come. However, DDR4 is mainstream today and is a good selection for the Skytech Azure’s target audience.
Hard Drive: The Skytech Azure comes with a 1TB NVMe SSD drive. NVMe is the latest in storage technology and is 6 times the speed of traditional SSD. 1TB of storage capacity will allow you to have enough storage for any modern game. If you need to add storage down the road, you can.
What Games Can I Play on the Skytech Azure?
The processor, RAM, hard drive, and graphics card all play important roles in determining the games you can play. The most important component with this build that we need to focus on will be the graphics card. NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is a mid-range graphics card in the 30 series product line. It was made for gamers who are upgrading from 1080P resolution to get a more immersive experience. You can certainly play 4K resolution but graphics quality and performance might suffer, depending on the game.

Please do note that your results may vary. New patches and changes to the game along with background applications you run will all have an impact on your performance. These are also conservative estimates in most cases so you may be able to get better performance on 1440P resolution than listed here. You may even be able to game with ultra-settings on 4K with some of these games, but do know that the quality and performance may not be optimal.
