Steps to Replace the Battery for an HP Pavilion X360
You may find it challenging to remove the bottom cover of this specific model of HP Pavilion.

Steps to replacing the battery in the HP Pavilion X360 Laptop:
Step 1: After you disconnect the power and hold the power button down for 30 seconds, then you can begin disconnecting the battery. You first need to remove the screws as indicated in the image above. You will need 6.5mm size screwdriver for unscrewing HP Laptop’s back panel.
Step 2: After that, you need to use a plastic pry tool like the one pictured below.
Step 3: This is going to be difficult, and it may feel like the bottom cover is going to break. Have faith and have patience as you work around the laptop to pry off the cover. As you go around, you should hear the popping sounds of the cover coming off.
Step 4: Once you have removed the bottom cover you can start to remove the screws that hold in the battery.

Step 5: Once the screws are removed, gently lift up on the back side of the battery (see image above). This will remove the battery from the laptop.
