Here is my review of the RTX 4070 Ti for Ready or Not. The graph above shows the quick run-down of the performance metrics you can expect to see using the RTX 4070 Ti on a well-balanced PC, like the Skytech Azure 2 gaming PC below. The performance metrics were measured in FPS (frames per second) on different resolutions (4K, 1440P and 1080P). Ultimately, the RTX 4070 Ti will perform great for Ready or Not.
About the RTX 4070 Ti
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is a powerful graphics card made by NVIDIA that’s great for serious gamers. It was released on January 3rd, 2023. This card uses the latest technology to make games look amazing on your computer. It’s designed to handle all the newest games with no problem.
To help the card run smoothly, it has 12 GB of a special type of memory called GDDR6X. This memory is really fast and helps the graphics card handle lots of information at once. The card itself works at a speed of 2310 MHz and can go even faster when needed, up to 2610 MHz. The memory runs at 1313 MHz, which is super quick (21 billion times per second). Overall, this graphics card is built to handle demanding games and make them look incredible on your screen.
PC Specs for this Review – Skytech Azure 2
For this review, I recommend the Skytech Azure 2, which comes with the RTX 4070 Ti and is paired nicely with the Intel i5 13600K and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. You won’t have any difficulty in playing this game or other games with good performance on 1080P and 1440P. You can achieve 4K with this build using DLSS on most games, like Hogwarts Legacy, COD MW3, Apex Legends and others. That being said, It’s not natively a 4K video card like the RTX 4080 and 4090.

Why we measure in FPS
FPS stands for “frames per second.” It’s a measure used to assess the performance and smoothness of video games. Essentially, it represents how many individual frames or images your computer or gaming console can render and display on the screen every second while you’re playing a game.
A higher FPS count generally means smoother gameplay because the game appears to be more fluid and responsive. When the FPS is lower, the game might seem choppy or less responsive.
Why I use DLSS
Achieving different FPS values at various resolutions with DLSS indicates how different graphical settings impact the performance of the game. Higher resolutions like 1440P and 4K demand more graphical processing power, and DLSS helps in maintaining playable frame rates by using AI-powered upscaling techniques. The performance differences illustrate the trade-offs between higher resolution (better visuals) and higher FPS (smoother gameplay) in the context of your gaming setup’s capabilities.
About Ready or Not
“Ready or Not” is a very intense and strategic video game where you play as a SWAT team member dealing with dangerous situations. It’s a first-person shooter set in a modern world. The game has received a lot of positive reviews, with over 117,000 players liking it overall. It was released on December 13, 2023, and was developed and published by VOID Interactive.
It’s recommended system requirements list the following:
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5-1600 / Intel Core i5-7600K
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB or better
- DirectX: Version 11
Clearly, the RTX 4070 Ti surpasses the requirement of the GTX 1060 6GB card. The Skytech Azure 2 is very advanced compared to these PC specs.
