The purpose of this article is to provide my review of the Skytech Mini PC X1. This review of the Skytech Mini PC X1 will go over my opinions on the build as it relates to the hardware included and its performance against modern AAA games, like Fortnite, COD Warzone, GTA 5, and even CyberPunk 2077. I will provide a more comprehensive list towards the end of this video on all the AAA games you should be able to play.
For this review I won’t go into all the details on the hardware. The PC case, cooling, motherboard, network and wireless card are not as important to gaming and performance as the other components. I will be discussing the processor, integrated graphics, hard drive, and RAM, however.
Overview of the Skytech Mini PC X1
The Skytech Mini PC X1 is a good choice for anyone gaming on a budget that wants to play modern games and is okay with not having super great graphics. This means your resolution will be 1080P (1920 x 1080) or less and you will need to set your graphics settings to either medium or low in order to get good performance. If you have played games on higher resolutions like 1440P or 4K then this PC is not for you.
Overall, the Skytech Mini PC X1 has a decent processor (APU), 16TB of RAM, and a 500GB NVMe SSD drive. The specs for the Skytech Mini PC X1 are listed below and I will talk about each one in detail and provide my reasons for liking this build, as well as some items that I’m not a big fan of.
It is also made in the U.S.A. (so you get U.S. based support) and comes with a 1-year warranty with lifetime technical support.

Review of Skytech Mini PC X1’s Processor – AMD 5600G
The Skytech Mini PC X1’s processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G. It was initially released in April of 2021. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600G supports up to 3200Mhz of DDR 4 memory, has 16GB of cache and a boost clock ratio of 4.4Ghz. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600G has AMD Radeon integrated graphics, which is where you will get your gaming performance and graphics from.
This gaming PC does not have a graphics card and will rely entirely on the processor. It is an accelerated processing unit (APU) which means that both CPU and GPU are on the same chip. This processor is powerful enough to play modern AAA games, but don’t expect the same performance as a PC with a dedicated graphics card.
RAM and Hard Drive – Skytech Mini PC X1
RAM: The Skytech Mini PC X1 comes with 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz. For a PC of this caliber, 16GB of RAM should be plenty. However, I would not want a new PC with less memory than that. DDR4 is mainstream today but DDR5 RAM is available on the market and will be mainstream soon.
Hard Drive: The Skytech Mini PC X1 comes with a 500GB NVMe SSD drive. NVMe is the latest in storage technology and adds a factor of 6 times the speed of traditional SSD. 500GB is an okay amount of data storage and unless you’re doing a lot with photos and saving videos. Keep in mind that modern AAA gaming titles are being released with anywhere from 20-60GB install files.
What Games Can I Play with the Skytech Mini PC X1?
To answer the question of what games you can play with the Skytech Mini PC X1, we need to look at the processor. There have been a lot of side-by-side comparisons and benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G compared to NVIDIA and Radeon graphics cards. Based on those benchmarks, it is widely believed that the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is comparable to the Radeon RX 550 and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1030 graphics cards. If we know that it is comparable to those dedicated graphics cards, it is a lot easier to compare how this meet system requirements of modern games.
You may only be able to play games on 1920 x 1080 resolution with low to medium graphics settings. That being said, here are the games you can play with the Skytech Mini PC X1 with resolution and graphics settings to meet ideal performance:
