The purpose of this article is to provide my review of the Skytech Nebula and the games you can play on it. I will also share my overall perspective on why they built this machine and who they are targeting to buy this. This review will also go over the hardware included and its performance against modern AAA games, like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The end of this article will show a list of all the games you can play. It will list your ideal graphics and resolution settings for performance.
Additionally, I am only going to review the hardware that’s critical to performance and gaming. I’m not going to review the PC case, cooling, motherboard or network connectivity. Instead, I will be reviewing the processor, graphics card, hard drive, and RAM.
Overview of the Skytech Nebula
The target audience for the Skytech Nebula are gamers who enjoy playing some of the latest AAA titles like Warzone 2 and Elden Ring, but don’t need to game at higher resolution and graphics settings like 1440P and 4K. That means if you buy this gaming PC you are likely going to be playing at 1080P albeit with ultra-graphics settings. To put that in perspective, most gamers today play at 1080P resolution, at least according to the latest Steam Hardware Survey.
I think the Skytech Nebula has a good processor, good graphics card, good amount of RAM and storage capacity. It’s a good entry-level gaming PC if you can afford it. It’s perfect for the average gamer.
You should look at the Mini PC X1 review if you’re on a budget, don’t care about graphics quality or resolution and need an entry-level gaming PC. The Skytech Nebula is not that.
If you need to game at 1440P or 4K resolution, then I would recommend reviewing the Skytech Blaze 3.0. The Skytech Blaze 3.0 is meant for gamers who are serious about graphics and performance, but also not at “the tip of the spear”.
All Skytech PCs are made in the U.S.A. (so you get U.S. based support) and they come with a 1-year warranty with lifetime technical support.

Review of Skytech Nebula’s Processor
The Skytech Nebula comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core 3.6Ghz processor. It has a max boost frequency of 4.2Ghz. Being that it has 6-cores, it is going to meet or exceed the recommended system requirements of any new game that gets released in 2022-2023.
We have not really seen mainstream games released that have requirements for 8-cores. You really are only going to need 8-cores or more if you plan on competitive gaming with a monitor that has a high refresh rate, streaming, gaming, and running multiple background processes.
That being said, let’s take a look at how this processor ranks against the system requirements for Warzone 2.0 – a modern AAA game in 2022.

You can see that Competitive Specs call out for an AMD Ryzen 7 1800X. Ultra 4K Specs call out an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X. Competitive Specs would allow you to play at 1440P resolution with maximum graphics settings. The Ultra 4K Specs would allow you to play on 4K resolution with maximum graphics settings.
Cores (Threads) | Base Clock | Boost Clock | L3 Cache | |
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | 6 (12) | 3.6 | 4.0 | 32MB |
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X | 8 (16) | 3.6 | 4.0 | 16MB |
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X | 12 (24) | 3.8 | 4.6 | 64MB |
You can see from the table above that the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 does not quite make the list for competitive gaming. This is truly a processor that exceeds the recommended system requirements, but does not quite make it in to the upper levels of processing power. Again, this all fits into the picture of the target audience for the Skytech Nebula.
Skytech Nebula – RAM and Hard Drive
RAM: The Skytech Nebula comes with 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz. I have said this in other reviews of Skytech gaming PCs: I would not go less than 16GB of RAM for a new PC. 16GB of RAM should be your bare minimum for a new gaming PC. Could you go down to 8GB? Yes, but your performance would suffer, especially if you have background apps running.
Another thing to consider is that DDR5 memory will be mainstream in the years to come. However, DDR4 is mainstream today and is a good selection for the Skytech Nebula’s target audience.
Hard Drive: The Skytech Nebula comes with a 500GB NVMe SSD drive. NVMe is the latest in storage technology and is 6 times the speed of traditional SSD. 500GB of storage capacity will allow you to have enough storage for any modern game. If you need to add storage down the road, you can.
What Games Can I Play on the Skytech Nebula?
The processor, RAM, hard drive, and graphics card all play important roles in determining the games you can play. The most important component with this build that we need to focus on will be the graphics card. NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 12GB is a lower-level graphics card in the 30 series product line. It was made for entry-level gaming along with the 1660 SUPER, 3050 Ti, 3050, and 3060 Ti. It is limited to pretty much 1080P gaming at high graphics quality.
Game | Ideal Resolution | Ideal Graphics Settings |
Elden Ring | 1080P | High-Ultra |
Modern Warfare 2 / Warzone 2.0 | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |

PUBG | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
Minecraft | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
Red Dead Redemption 2 | 1080P | High-Ultra |
Far Cry 6 | 1080P | High-Ultra |
Dota 2 | 1080P – 1440P | Maximum |
Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
World of WarCraft | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |

Valorant | 1080P | High-Ultra |
Battlefield V | 1080P | High-Ultra |
Team Fortress 2 | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
Apex Legends | 1080P | High-Ultra |
Lost Ark | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
War Thunder | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
New World | 1080P | High-Ultra |
Terraria | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
Battlefield 1 | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
Unturned | 1080P – 1440P | High-Ultra |
Please do note that your results may vary. New patches and changes to the game along with background applications you run will all have an impact on your performance. These are also conservative estimates in most cases so you may be able to get better performance on 1440P resolution than listed here. You may even be able to game with ultra-settings on 4K with some of these games, but I was hesitant to list that, since it’s not the ideal audience for this gaming PC.
