RX 6400 Elden Ring Benchmarks show that this graphics card is best suited for 1080P resolution with medium graphics settings. That is if your goal is for best FPS performance. Elden Ring performs poorly on 4K resolution with low graphics settings. It performs better on the spectrum of 1440P resolution, but still not quite good enough to ensure you will not see stuttering or performance issues in the game. Even at 1080P the RX 6400 cannot quite get up to 60 FPS on max graphics settings. It does however, reach 60 FPS at medium settings with 1080P.
Compared to the RTX 3050, the Radeon RX 6400 is a close competitor in terms of FPS performance. The RTX 3050 Elden Ring benchmarks show about 55 FPS on max settings for 1080P resolution versus the ~50 FPS on the RX 6400. While the RTX 3050 will meet the recommended system requirements for Elden Ring, the RX 6400 only meets minimum requirements. That’s because the RTX 3050 can have up to 8GB of VRAM, while the RX 6400 can only have up to 4GB of VRAM. The AMD RX 6600 XT would be the next step up for Radeon graphics cards to meet Elden Ring’s recommended system requirements.
The RX 6400 is in AMD Radeon’s newest product line, the 6000 series. It is the lowest end graphics card in that line. Gamers who are seeking higher performance or better graphics should pursue a higher end graphics card. The AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT provides a much better gaming experience. It can perform on both 1080P and 1440P resolutions with maximum graphics enabled. If the goal is to save money and still be able to play Elden Ring, the RX 6400 will suffice.
