Skytech Azure 2 vs Apex Legends
Skytech, a prominent name in the gaming PC industry, has introduced the Skytech Azure 2, representing a significant leap forward from its predecessor, the Skytech Nebula. Positioned as the quintessential upgrade, this latest offering promises a refined equilibrium and enhanced specifications, targeting the gaming elite with cutting-edge technology.
At its core, the Azure 2 hosts the near-latest Intel i5 13600K processor, bringing gamers closer to the forefront of technological advancements. Yet, amidst the excitement, the recent October 2023 release of Intel’s 14th generation processors might weigh on the minds of prospective buyers, prompting considerations before taking the plunge.
What sets the Azure 2 apart is its impressive 32GB RAM, a powerhouse of memory capability. Teamed with the 4070 Ti graphics card, this setup is poised to handle demanding titles like Apex Legends, requiring a 64-bit Windows 10 OS, Intel i5 3570K equivalent CPU, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970, AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, 8GB GPU RAM, and a minimum of 22GB free storage space. This robust combination ensures a smooth, high-performance gaming experience, promising consistent gameplay at elevated settings.
Skytech Azure 2 Processor (Intel i5 13600K)
Under the hood, the Intel i5 13600K, known for its prowess, bears the “K” designation, hinting at its overclocking potential. While the hardware supports overclocking, a note of caution resonates to avoid potential thermal challenges. Presently, the i5 13600K’s commendable performance might negate the immediate necessity for overclocking. However, the evolving landscape of gaming demands may warrant revisiting this feature in the future.
Graphics Card (RTX 4070 Ti)
The real star, the RTX 4070 Ti, heralds a new era in performance enhancement. Benchmarked against the Intel i5 13600K, the RTX 4070 Ti reigns supreme, delivering an average FPS of 74 at 1080P in demanding titles. Handling AAA titles at high settings on 1080P and 1440P resolutions seamlessly, it maintains superior FPS, although slight dips below 60 FPS might occur at 4K. However, even at this resolution, it maintains a commendable performance level, staying above 50 FPS consistently.
RAM and Hard Drive
With 32GB DDR5 5200MHz RAM, the Azure 2 champions future-proofing. While only a few games currently demand such RAM configurations, it ensures a seamless gaming experience not only in 2023 but likely beyond. Complementing this, the 1TB NVME storage offers both speed and space, but for larger data storage, options like the Buffalo LinkStation, providing 2TB after RAID 1, serve as a backup and media repository without compromising NVME storage.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Skytech Azure 2 stands tall as an enticing upgrade, catering to gaming enthusiasts seeking top-tier performance and a future-proof setup for extensive gaming endeavors. As always, individual gaming experiences may vary based on optimizations, updates, and personal gameplay settings.
